Michael Boyko is a Senior Project Executive at WaterTectonics specializing in cooling tower, industrial water, wastewater, and water reuse solutions. A co-founder of Dynamic Water Technologies, he brings more than 20 years of experience helping customers reduce water use, chemical consumption, and operating costs.

Annikki founded Mimir Water in 2020 to help facility teams embed practical water-efficiency strategies into daily operations. She works with diverse facilities to save time, money, water, and equipment life. She created a mobile assessment platform to support field-based decision-making and has trained hundreds of technicians.

Sara Gabrielson, PhD, is Regional Coordinator for Pacific Fire Exchange, a Hawaiʻi-based science communication program that aims to improve fire outcomes in Hawaiʻi and the Western Pacific by pursuing, translating, and sharing fire science and research. She supports collaboration between researchers, land managers, and emergency responders.

David Goode, Director of Land Development for Ledcor Maui, leads complex projects from planning through construction. A former Maui Public Works Director and current Wailea Community Association President, he brings expertise in infrastructure, regulations, public policy, environmental stewardship, and sustainable community development.

Juli Beth Hinds is the founding Principal of Birchline Planning LLC, providing public and private-sector clients with expertise in land use planning, water resources, program development, and public communications. She has 20+ years of consulting experience and over a decade leading municipal planning initiatives.

James is Chief Engineer for the County of Maui Department of Water Supply. He brings 20 years of private consulting engineering experience in California working on the design and construction of various forms of infrastructure involving roads and water. Prior to Maui Water, he held roles in the Maui Dept. of Public Works and the City of Santa Rosa.

Angelique Kekuewa is a Hawaiʻi-born entrepreneur and Founder of Mana Wai Solutions. Deeply rooted in mālama ʻāina and Hawaiian values of stewardship, she is passionate about protecting water for future generations. She helps homeowners, businesses, and developers improve water security in Hawaiʻi through graywater recycling, atmospheric water generation, and sustainable conservation solutions.

James Mothersbaugh is the Founder of WaterTectonics and has spent more than 50 years advancing innovative water treatment technologies. An inventor and patent holder in electrocoagulation processes, he has helped develop sustainable solutions for complex water and environmental challenges.

Robbie Pickering is a Senior Environmental Engineer and LEED AP O+M with ERG. He has spent more than 15 years developing technical resources and trainings related to water efficiency in the built environment, primarily for EPA’s national water efficiency program, WaterSense. He previously served as Vice Chair of the LEED Water Efficiency Technical Advisory Group.

Committed to ecological stewardship and community health, Scarlet advances regenerative design strategies to safeguard the waters of Maui Nui. Her work draws inspiration from nature and integrates expertise in urban planning, collaboration with Indigenous communities, and landscape architecture from Harvard University to advance resilient, place-based water solutions for future generations.

David Sellers co-founded HIOG, a sustainable architecture and engineering firm, and led major renewable energy and wildfire recovery projects in Hawaiʻi. A former Nature Conservancy operations leader and AIA Maui president, he advances resilient sustainable design, mass timber, affordable housing, and community recovery efforts.

Yoash is a Civil Engineer with the County of Maui Department of Water Supply. With more than 20 years of experience in the public and private sectors, he has led and supported water, wastewater, roadway, stormwater, and public works projects. He also has extensive emergency response experience during flood and wildfire events.

Holly Cannon, a senior environmental scientist with ERG, has dedicated her career to promoting water efficiency and sustainable facilities management. She has supported EPA's WaterSense program since its inception in 2006, specializing in water efficiency in commercial and institutional buildings. Holly has also completed field water use and conservation assessments at dozens of federal facilities.

Robert is the founder and CEO of Ecovie Water Management, which specializes in on-site water management for individual buildings. Ecovie focuses on the capture and re-use of rainwater and on greywater recycling. Bob has held positions in engineering and R&D in the USA, Latin America, and Europe, managing large innovation and engineering projects.

Dylan Herndon is Water Treatment Plant Division Chief for the County of Maui DWS (2024–present). With 10+ years in water treatment operations, he is best known for commissioning the Bullitt Center's rainwater-to-potable system in Seattle — featured on the cover of Engineering News-Record, July 2019.

Eric Hough is Chief Commercial Officer at Epic Cleantec, leading business development and project delivery. He holds a degree in environmental engineering and has over 15 years executing a wide range of water reuse projects. He's passionate about guiding the AEC industry and public agencies toward sustainable water strategies and solutions.

Jeffery Jurickovich is a landscape irrigation auditing specialist focused on advanced water management. He specializes in Central Controlled Smart Irrigation Systems, integrating localized weather data and sensors to optimize system efficiency. Jeffery has over 30 years of commercial landscape irrigation water management experience.

Curtis Miyashiro is a Water Systems Consultant with Mana Wai Solutions. Having experience with atmospheric water generators and greywater recycling technologies has given him a passionate vision of seeing stewardship opportunities by providing water security and resilience not only for today but more importantly for future generations. Neu-Wa O’Neill, AIA, is a Principal at AHL with 20+ years of experience delivering complex projects across Hawai‘i. At AHL, he has contributed to a range of hospitality, residential, retail, and institutional projects. He brings a collaborative approach to his work that reflects a statewide practice rooted in place-based and responsive design.

Katie is the Planning Branch Chief with the Commission on Water Resource Management. Over her 15-year career with the State, she has supported freshwater and watershed protection efforts. She leads CWRM’s water resource planning team and holds a B.A. in Urban Studies & Planning (UC San Diego) and a Master’s in Urban & Regional Planning, (UH Mānoa).

Executive Director of Maui Nui Botanical Gardens since 2014, Tamara has spent more than two decades preserving and promoting native Hawaiian and canoe plants. She oversees a leading public collection and community programs and will share practical guidance on native plant selection and drought-tolerant species for commercial landscapes.

Melissa is a Partner with SR Partners LLC, based on Maui. For decades she advanced initiatives through government relations, nonprofit advocacy, grants, and community engagement. She supports Maui’s post-wildfire water recovery efforts, including R-1 water initiatives, the Wai Dashboard, and the Hawaiian Islands Environmental Finance Center.
