Why You Should Attend

Maui County has a finite water supply that experiences pressure from drought conditions and growing tourism. Representatives from hotels, resorts, and condominium associations are encouraged to participate to learn about strategies to help meet their facility’s financial and sustainability goals, as well as to demonstrate leadership in helping preserve water supplies on Maui. Attendance is free, and participants will gain insights from local and national leaders about enhancing water efficiency and sustainability practices at their properties.

DWS will also highlight strategies to meet Maui County’s new Water Use Conservation Ordinance 5929 and offer a toolkit to advance water efficiency, pursue LEED certification, and foster long-term collaboration with DWS.
